We are all ready for a reduction in interest rates. All the signs are pointing to that.
Here are my seven reasons why I believe we will see it this month.
1. Global Trends
Most of the major markets has started adjusting their interest rates down or are activly looking at it.
2. The Rand
The rand has been a lot more stable the past few months and are slowly gaining against the USD, Euro and Pound.
3. South African Economy
As a whole our economy is showing signs of growth over most sectors
4. Inflation
Our inflation is looking a lot better than the past few years.
5. Eskom
It seems as if Eskom has manage to stabilized the national grid
6. Oil price
Globally oil prices has started to come down which had a big impact on getting inflation under control.
7. government of national Unity
Although far from perfect the the GNU has done well the first few months which means a lot for investor sentiment towards RSA.
